Annapurna base camp trek start from Nayapul/ Phedi, an hour’s drive from Pokhara with some fabulous views of Annapurna (South) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) as well as several Himalayan peaks while we are on the way to get our trekking starting point. As long as we arrive at Nayapull then a half an hour walk brings you to Birethanti, situated at the confluence of Modi and Bhurung rivers, here the route divides. We take the west trail towards Ghorepani, a trading Gurung village situated at an elevation of 2850 m., where there is a one of the best view point Poon hill (3210 m) for panoramic Himalayan views of Annapurna Himalaya range. The views at sunrise from Poon hill are simply stunning. From Ghorepani, the trail leads east to the hamlet of Tadapani and on towards Chhomrong, from where we heading our journey into the Annapurna base camp. The journey to Annapurna base camp follows the valley in between the huge ramparts of Himchuli & Machhapuchhre Himalayan range, finally emerging into an amazing amphitheater, where a labyrinth of mountains and Annapurna I tower almost vertically above us. At the final destination, the Annapurna sanctuary 4130m will be welcoming you patiently. Local inhabitants have treasured the Annapurna sanctuary has been treasured as a place of spiritual refuge since long before trekkers “discovered” it. This is highly praised and spectacular trekking route, which leads to the base camp of Annapurna. Day 03 : Drive or flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)
Day 04 : Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul then trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1480m).
Day 05 : Trek from Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani (2860m)
Day 06 : Hike to Poonhill for sunrise (3210m) then trek to Tadapani (2630m)
Day 07 : Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m) .
Day 08 : Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m)
Day 09 : Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3200m).
Day 10 : Trek from Deurali to Annapurna base camp (4130).
Day 11 : Explore ABC and trek back to Bamboo (2310 m).
